The Dilemma...
"We're rolling out a new browser-based client management application. It's complicated, we're building it as we go, and the staff are NOT really confident about online systems on a good day. Most important, client information is collected and shared with state-wide hospitals. There's got to be a way to train our staff without having them leave their desks for a half a day or more. And we know some staff don't retain the offsite training too. How do we train quickly, effectively and consistently?"

The Response
Short, instructional training clips (screencasts) provided the counter-measure in the above scenario. Within fourteen days, custom video clips were created to show the user through the application step-by-step. These screencasts were posted on the agency intranet providing "just-in-time training" as the agency went-live with the application.
What is a Screencast?
They are really a little movie with a purpose…. education, motivation, or story telling. They can be shown on the net, intranet, local drive, CD, DVD, MP4 players and more...
